David J. Bookbinder is a psychotherapist, writer, and photographer working primarily with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, artists, and people with addictive behaviors. He came to psychotherapy after a transformative near-death experience shifted him toward art and healing. His most recent book is 'Paths to Wholeness: Fifty-Two Flower Mandalas ,' a visually stunning blend of award-winning images, inspirational quotations, and potent reflections on our amazing human experience. He is also the author of award-winning Flower Mandalas which were inspired by the paintings of Georgia O’Keeffe and the flower photographs of Harold Feinstein, with whom he briefly studied.
